This is the all-new RLC ‘Maxi Flusso’ manifold that is available to take either solid mounted carbs such PHBH 28-30mm Dell’Orto’s or rubber mounted carbs such as the Dell’Orto PHB / PWK / Kehin 25-30mm carbs. We have had these designed & made by the same company that produce the barrels & ali parts for manufacturers such as TM and Honda Italia. Based on an original 60’s Ancollotti SS manifold, our main intention was to produce a manifold that allows you to fit a large carb whilst maintaining the airfilter box or a large foam-type filter such as Tino’s ‘Breathesweet’ filters. Other important factors are that with this manifold is that the carb now sits perfectly HORIZONTAL and also that that it doesn’t touch the either of the cowlings.

First tests on our rolling road have revealed no power loss over other manifolds on the market and that if fitted, the carb’s airhose is not crushed up against the inside of the sidepanel. The main fixing areas are also much beefier than most other manifolds (to eliminate possibility of cracking) and there is also a small recess in the ali on the rear fixing point where a second hole can be drilled if you have 125 / 150 / 175 / Casa 185 stud spacing on your barrel. We haven’t gone mad on the size of the inlet hole on purpose, so it can be used on 175 / 185’s or it can easily be opened out to suit your particular barrel’s inlet port on 200’s and 225’s. This is perfect for the BGM 225 kits (we have fitted to these manifolds to every single scooter we’ve kitted out with the kit, with excellent results).

Please note that the internal bore size of the manifold is approx. 28mm although this can vary very slightly due to casting. To ensure that there is plently of metal around the long fixing stud hole, there is an internal 'lump' which is there for this reason but this has ZERO effect on power output (we have tested these, with and without this lump on a dyno and there was no variation in power whatsoever). This manifold enables you to fit a 30mm PHBH carb to your scooter and still retain the original airfilter box (or the BGM4488 large neck airfilter box), using a normal GP150 / GP200 22mm type airfilter hose. This version of the manifold is for SOLID mount carbs.
