Lambretta TV225 Soulsation - RLC

This is our Isabella's personal scooter and started out life as a wreck from Greece. It has taken 2 years work to get it to this condition and has been a long haul what with being worked on at weekends and lunch breaks. The boys did the spannering work but Isa chose the colours and the paintwork design. As a life-long Jackson 5 fan, that was her obvious choice for the theme of the scooter and the 5 stars (representing the 5 brothers) runs through the whole scooter, from the chrome edged stars in the paintwork design right through to the stunning one-off horncasting badge commissioned and made by Yann @ Carte Blanche in Lyon. The seat is an original 'T' bar Pegasus item from the UK and the scooter features a lot of deft little touches that you notice as you look around the scooter. The funky chunky Floridas' are original (70's) Ulma's - as are the footboard extensions. The rear light unit is an original Lucas unit and has it' s matching US spec number plate holder. In a country where it is seemingly impossible to modify even so much as a rear view mirror, perhaps one of the most amazing things is that RLC managed to get the scooter registered LEGALLY as a 225cc five speed. Now the scooter is out and about on Italy's roads and she uses it for both rallies, as well as pleasure. The scooter picked up 'Best Overall Scooter' on it's first two outings so it would seem that Isa got the aesthetical side of things right!
