This scooter was actually owner by Marcello's Father! Armed with 3 black & white pics, Marcello had to recall the scooters' colours from his childhood (as the scooter had subsequently been painted over, blasted and then repainted several times over the years, leaving no indication of the original colours) and his Father had the scooter done in quite lairy colours for the time. Check out the period pics: cool or what? The scooter arrived already stripped and with clear instructions as to how it needed to be built. Working to Marcello's guidelines, memories and pics, we've totally restored the scooter. A few 'extras' have been added so that Marcello's own touch has been added to his Fathers scooter. These include an upgrade to the engine output to 185cc with a Casa kit, a 23mm carb and a VERY heavily modified Conti exhaust transformed into 42mm by our Fabrizio. The scooter now goes well enough to match the looks. Other small touches are RLC's 'signature' chromed & pinstriped original Innocenti wheel rims, original accessories and the mad seat, expertly covered by Trezzi Dante. All this adds up to the scooter you see here, that has been brought back into life as it was all those years ago. The red 'horns' painted on the scooter were fashionable in the Vicenza area in the early 60's and could be seen on numerous scooters, bikes, cars and all manner of other vehicles! The blue on the scooter is that of the Carabinieri Italian police and a impromtu photo opportunity arose when we were testing the scooter as one of the local chaps came over to check the scooter out...!
