DL 200 Conserved resto Pasty

Pasty acquired this scooter form Italy's deep South and whilst it was a reasonably well 'conserved' Lambretta aesthetically speaking, it was in need of some attention mechanically. Pasty asked us to completely strip the scooter, re-zinc / blacken / re-plate the fasteners & fixings, 'blow in' some of the areas on the scooter where the paint was no existent and totally rebuild the engine with as many NOS parts as we could muster. This we did and RLC's famed attention to detail went into overdrive mode with our Marco making sure EVERY fastener was EXACTLY as it left the factory. NOS parts can make all the difference to the finished article and the scooter now runs, rides and looks bang on. Pasty, who is no thickie when it comes to originality (he has a garage with dozens of vintage cars, bikes, scooters and God knows what else), is as pleased as punch with the end result. Job done.
