Special year 1969, this is one of the very last models produced before or maybe during the production line was working on the DL/GP models. The plastic grey toolbox , the buffer type fork, the front square badge and the clip-on panels and 13mm Spanners head bolts make the rarity of this Lambretta scooter painted in Azzurro Metallizzato 8061.
This is a real authentic original paint Lambretta Special125 and it’s the real deal for any scooter collectors considering the small amount of them still around. This is 100% original paint and it has been done a conservative restoration.l here at RLC a while ago now.
Fully stripped it down, cleaned and polished it up it has been rebuilt with new teflon outer cables and new zinched original nuts and bolts. The engine has been acid dipped and rebuilt with mostly original Innocenti spares or Casa Lambretta, the barrel bored out to 57mm and a big bore exhaust.
We left the original 6V point ignition, new cables and flywheel remagnetized, new Ceab coil back on.
It starts at first kick !
We’ve tried to leave as much as possible to guarantee the originality at its best, we only fitted a genuine set of Super side panels ‘kick plates’ accessory and a Super front mudguard bumper both ultra rare period accessories. All the badges, the CEV headlight unit, the Gabor light switch and all the key sets are all genuine as per Innocenti spec. The scooter has still got the original dealer deacal on and it is fitted a set of NOS Pirelli 3.50-10 tyres.
Not many miles have been ridden since the fully rebuilt the engine is still running in.
