Lambretta TV175 S1 year 1958 mid production example with fixed adjusters and non-removable horn grill. The bike has been commeted by our good-old customer who has previously restored sone of his projects already here at RLC and this time he wanted to go far beyond suggesting a custom TV1 which is quite unusual when you own this particular Lambretta model. The choice of colors has been inspired by a classic cars book from late ‘50s early ‘60s and the decision has fallen on this combination of light metallic gold and aubergine metallic purple both from Mercedes classic cars.

The engine is completely restored from A to Z with new bearings and viton oil seals and it has fitted the original barrel rebored, 12v electronic ignition, original crankshaft with new conrod and Dell’Orto MA23 BS5 carb. Acid dipping treatment to the engine and all the parts polished up to make it looking as smooth as possible, all the fasteners chromed like original adjusters, grease nipples and brake links. We’ve used all stainless steel nut and bolt polished up all over.

Original OEB rims with chromed edges and painted inside. Original Becme 468 flap type ignition keys, original light switch and speedo. All keys are genuine. The exhaust is a one-off 4 pipes ‘Londinium’ type silencers built around the original type TV1 exhaust box, that gives the ‘Hot Rod’ look. The success of this ‘iconic’ restoration is also behind the choice of the whole selection of genuine ‘60s accessories like the Ulma ‘Lightning flashes’ on the side panels and Vgano’ ‘Jaglights’, the Super in-line spare wheel holder and Ardor front mudguard embellisher make the look of this classic scooter one of the best custom never seen before. The seat is an original Giuliari ‘Humpback’ Nannucci very rare example, modified with opening by side, rare as hens theeth.

This success of this Lambretta is well known all around the world, it took part to several rallies in UK and it is considered one of the best and customized TV1 of the whole scooter scene. Some people tried to make a similar copy but very far from the class and the look of this one which is the real deal.
