Listening to customers and working closely with the manufacturers Meteor, we have improved the pistons for SST265 cylinders. So what’s new? We have changed the external running-in coating on the pistons for a new, state-of-the-art treatment which is based on the very latest technology on the market. The name used by Meteor is ‘oil-dots’, and the design helps to retain oil, thus vastly improving lubrification. The graphite material of the coating is also totally new. After extensive testing, we can confirm that this really is an unbeatable treatment and results have been outstanding.
