The new exhaust studs manufactured by Casa Performance are extremely high quality. They have different length threaded sections and the shorter ends are designed to fit into the cylinder. The reason for this is that on most smallframe Lambretta cylinders, the lower threaded hole(s) for the exhaust stud(s) pass right though into the holes for the long cylinder studs.
What can happen is that if your exhaust studs are too long, they could effectively lock up against the cylinder studs. If you then need to remove your cylinder, you’ll find it won’t budge and is locked solid by the offending exhaust stud(s). This situation can also happen on nearly all lambretta models.
These new studs should ensure this will not happen. Sold as a pair.
