Pair of reduction bushes to convert S3 BGM rear shock absorber for use on a Lambretta Lui Vega Cometa. 

BGM REAR SHOCKER FOR YOUR VEGA? The Lambretta Luna line machines are fairly neglected on the suspension front with only standard Casa Lambretta type rear shockers being readily available. These are okay for standard use….as long as you haven’t been at the pies too much and don’t ride anywhere two-up.  The situation is accentuated if you also choose to fit a 125 or 135cc conversion, as the barrel is also taller, and the cylinder cowling then comes into contact with the underside of the frame under normal suspension use. Dents in the cowling and broken cylinder head fins then become the order of the day.

With the advent of the forthcoming ‘CP One35’ plug ‘n’ play 135cc conversion kits for these models (and J Range), we have come up with a simple, cheap solution by producing a pair of steel bushes that can be inserted into any normal Lambretta Series 3 BGM rear shock absorber. These shockers are slightly longer than Luna equivalents and that difference is enough to ensure that the frame no longer touches the cylinder set-up, even if you ride two-up.

These bushes effectively reduce the inner diameters to that of the Vega suspension pins (that are different top and bottom)  and hey-presto you have decent suspension on your Innocenti ‘ped.
