We all know that the 8-stud Octopus rear hub by Casa Performance for largeframe Lambretta models was a massive step in the right direction for all our safety. The concept is simple and it’s not rocket science; by doubling the number of mounting points from 4 to 8, the possibility of your wheel coming loose becomes all-but nil.
But what about the smallframe models that have just 3 mounting studs as standard? With the advent of the ‘One05’ and ‘One35’ kits, performance has now reached unprecedented levels and with “safety first” being our prime concern, it was high time to address the situation.
The only possible upgrade was the fitment of impossible-to-find 4-stud Indian-manufactured hubs designed for the ‘Sunny FR’ model…until now! After an eternity of testing, testing and more product testing, we are proud to finally announce the release of the ‘Mini Octopus’ rear hub for smallframe Lambretta J Range and Luna Line models. We took the 4-stud ‘Sunny FR’ rear hub design and doubled-up to 8! Working in collaboration with Dean Orton and Pat at Saigon Scooter Center, we’ve collectively produced yet another world-first.
