The V3 version of our rear Lambretta shock absorber. Compared to its predecessor, all the proven features and the incredible robustness and durability of the V2 have been retained, including of course the length adjustment introduced by us for Lambretta and later on even Vespa shockers.
The setup of the shock absorber, on the other hand, has been massively refined by Rob Gray, who is a true suspension guru and quite successful Youtuber with the Kickback Garage as well.
Rob went deeply into the internals of the shock absorber and afterwards adjusted the spring rate.
The result:
Even better directional stability
Significant gain in road grip
Can be set up quite firm without being harsh for faster engines or 2 up
Rebound stage is refined and can be adjusted even more easily.
Further design advantages:
Sensibly dimensioned piston rod diameter of 14 mm. This displaces just the right amount of oil. But not too much as with a thicker piston rod, which means that the oil does not overheat and at the same time there is more space for oil -> win-win!
Proven features:
Bushings mounted with silent rubbers. Available as spare parts, of course.
Rebound and compression damping with marking hard -> soft
