"Bicilindrico XL" legshield toolbox for Lambretta S3 + SX + Special + TV3 + Serveta

NEW ‘XL’ VERSION! This toolbox is a superb copy of that designed and fitted to the Innocenti produced Twin Cylinder Prototype as restored by us here at RLC and part of Vittorio Tessera's Lambretta Museum in Milan. With the original toolbox, due to the ultra-slim design, you could fit a bottle of 2T oil and a few tools but little else. This new ‘XL’ version is 5cm deeper and consequently now offers much more space internally. Despite the enlarged size, it’s still very sleek in appearance and is manufactured in fibreglass. The lower mounting bolts fit the bottom horncasting retaining bolts and at the top, you will need to drill a small 5mm hole for the single, top mounting bolt (which remains hidden once the toolbox fitted). Each toolbox is supplied complete with a rubber beading, lock and 2 keys. This will fit any Lambretta Series 3 LI-SX-TV-GT-Special or Serveta model.

We’ve used a NOS legshield for both types of toolbox to make sure the mould would get get the right angle and shaped properly. Please check your legshield before or during the fitting to reduce at least the gap in between. The toolbox is sold “to be painted” and it comes in fiberglass material, the difference beteeethe colors is to spot the 2 different legshield type.
