Jez Martell TT225

RLC is working closely with living legend Tony Tessier and decided to produce a limited series of 4 Lambretta's that are all built under the approval and guidelines laid out by him. Tony worked for Arthur Francis in the 60's and whilst there, built some very special versions of the 'S' Type. This version was called the 'Jet' and Tony still has pics and original designs for these amazing scooters. Using these as the basis, we set about creating the 3rd of these limited edition Lambretta's for Jeremy and he told us which of the possible optional extra's he wanted on the scooter. One of the first things to come to light that was chosed by Jeremy was an original Nannucci Humpback sports seat in off-white and brown, with gold 'Giuliari' lettering on the back. As all the Jet TT225's have the base red but all have different secondary colours, that provided the basis for the additional colours on this scooter. The scooter came via a well-known Northern soul DJ in the UK and we set about stripping it and then rebuilding it to the desired spec. The scooter has 12V Ducati 180W points ignition, cast-iron 225cc Innocenti top end, Amal 30mm Mk.1.5 on an original manifold, Cyclone 5 speed, modified RLC Gori, comp clutch, Smiths rev counter and speedo, original Italian metal inside legshield toolbox, NOS ACS tyres on Innocenti wheel rims, original Lucas legshield mounted lights and a special extended offside engine mount. The scooter is topped off with special hand-made TT225 badges to show it's pedigree and this show-stopping Lambretta now resides in Jeremy's garage in the UK. Sorted.
