TV 175 Nikos Greece

We had to give Nikos' scooter a "going over" initially but things took a sharp turn for the worse as we started to strip it down. A crankshaft that had been in a fight with an angle grinder, a fin-less barrel, an SX headset ground down to become a TV 'chrome ring' version, a cracked disc hub, oil and mud that had been painted over......what a 'mare. All summed up it would have made certain Vietnam bikes look 'reasonable'. Still, we had started, so on with the show. We totally stripped the scooter, sorted out the paintwork and ditched the dodgy parts. We acid dipped & polished the casings and then rebuilt the engine with genuine NOS TV parts and all new components. The bodywork received the same attention and coupled with some decent spares, the finished scooter now looks superb. Nikos is a happy bunny and he now has a scooter to live up to his self imposed OCD guidelines!
