This Lambro FLi175 'wide-cab' model, was the vehicle used by a Lambretta dealership in northern Italy to deliver scooters to their customers in the 60's. This Lambro was even used to deliver the fabled 'Olympic No.80' Lambretta Series 2 LI150 to its owner back in the day and even a second time when it was subsequently taking back in on part-exchange for a new Lambretta in the late 60's (again delivered with this very same Lambro).
The Lambro itself was running until recently although we haven't had the chance to try it. It's all complete, solid and seemingly only has surface rust issues. The Lambro was repainted by the same dealership in the late 60's in the (then) more modern light green of the later Lambro's, to give it a more 'up-to-date' appearance. Despite this, inside the cab, the original various 'warning' water-slide labels and stickers are all still visible. On the back, the flat-bed has three sets of oval rings for placing the scooters' wheels inside. The Lambro could take one scooter centrally, or two, side by side using the external rings. Hooks for attaching fixing-ropes are also present and the rearward loops are adjustable so that different models of Lambretta's could all be carried, simply by sliding the hooks forward or backwards.
The most amazing thing about this Lambro is it's history, which must be all but unique for a vehicle like this in 2017. How many like this must there be left? Lambro's are shooting up in price, especially here in Italy, and when you take into account the history of this vehicle, the value can only continue to rise.
The Lambro has full, current Italian documents and keys. Eventual delivery costs will be calculated (at cost) based on the buyers location.
