We’ve had a few enquiries
regarding how to go about ordering parts, accessories or scooters shown
on the site, so we’ve added this page to give potential customers a few
guidelines and answers to the most frequently asked questions. If you have
any other questions, other than those shown below, contact us!
Q
: Are all the items on the site available ?
A : As we now update
the site every 24 / 48hrs., it can be more or less taken for granted that
if a certain item is shown on the site, it’s available. The ONLY exception
to this rule is if we are awaiting a deposit or confirmation from a customer
who has expressed a desire to purchase an item. In this is the case, we
will ‘hold’ an item for up to 48hrs. After this time, if the customer who
has made the initial enquiry has still not completed payment, we
will contact you offering the item requested.

: How do I go about ordering an accessory / part ?
A : As most of the
parts shown on this site are rare or hard to find, it’s more than likely
that there is only one available at any one time. For this reason, it’s
recommended that you contact us via one of the many points dotted around
the site ( usually where it says ‘Enquiry Form’ ) or by sending an E mail
directly to ; info@riminilambrettacentre.com , giving details of which
item you are interested in. Nearly every item on the site has an ‘RLC Code’
number, so it’s usually enough to just quote this. We will then reply confirming
the availability of the item ( or if the item is being ‘held’ – see previous
Question ) and giving payment details.

: How do I pay for an item ?
A : Once we have
confirmed that an item is available, we will calculate the total including
the postage costs ( see following Question ). We will E mail you with the
total cost and you can either pay on line ( securely ) by ‘Paypal’ or by
Bank transfer. ‘Paypal’ is by far the easiest method and is instant allowing
us to despatch goods immediately, whereas Bank Transfers can take up to
a week in some cases to complete. Payments by ‘Paypal’ are subject to their
4% charge on the total bill cost although even taking this into account,
it still works out cheaper than a Bank Transfer. UK based customers can
pay directly into a Bank account we have in the UK at no extra cost.

: How much does postage cost ?
A : This obviously
depends on the size & weight of an item and where it has to be sent
to. European orders under 2 kg are sent normal registered post ( these
can also be insured upon request ) with an average cost being approx. GBP
£ 10. Orders over 2kg are normally sent using the Italian ‘Quick
Pack’ or ‘EMS’ services with the minimum cost being approx. GBP £
20 – 25 . Obviously, the heavier the parcel, the more it’ll cost to send.

: How long does it take for goods to be sent off?
A : We normally send
all items within 24hrs. of payment confirmation. Batches of scooters that
have been sold are normally sent off twice a week.

: How long does it take for goods to arrive ?
A : Parcels sent
by registered post can take between 7 – 14 days. Parcels sent by ‘Quick
Pack’ or ‘EMS’ normally take between 3 – 7 days to arrive depending on

: Which currency is used to pay for the items ?
A : The base price
for EVERY item on the site is in British Sterling ( GBP £ ). Normally
an item will have it’s price listed in all of the following currency’s
; GBP £ , USD $ and Euro’s. The prices in USD $ and Euro’s are guidelines
only. All invoices / billing will be in GBP £ Sterling, unless by
prior arrangement.
