first of the three LD rear carriers we’ve recently come across and this
one came right out of an old dealers stores. It is chromed and ready to
mount on your scooter. As with all LD carriers, it’s a big affair and this
will hold a LOT of baggage, no doubt about it. This carrier provides a
VERY sturdy rear mount for both luggage and spare wheel and when fitted
to a scooter, really looks the business.

good original chrome. There’s the odd small mark in the chrome but absolutely
nothing to worry about.
Notes ; This is about
as rare a carrier as you can get - and this is the first time we’ve had
such an item for sale on the site. Most J carriers were made for the earlier
‘fishtail’ models and were not suitable for the later ones. This one however,
fits the later frame type models and what’s more, it’s NOS. Its complete
with it’s wheel fixing plate, has it’s plastic endcaps & grey rubber
spacer and still has the makers label attached.

wheel carrier allows the spare wheel to sit between the riders legs giving
a ‘sporty’ look to the scooter. The wheel simply slots into the carrier
and this is a really nice, tight fit. This would look mental on a D racer
project. We’ve shown the carrier with a wheel from Paolo’s own 125D racer
fitted ( this is not included with the carrier ).

- the original chrome is in good overall condition. The rectangular bracket
that sits under the rear of the seat has been painted although this cannot
be seen once mounted on the scooter.

rear carrier is rare enough to find but this is the first time we have
come across one of these that fit the later type frames. These Fabbri carriers
are VERY well made and extremely robust. This is a good looking bit of
kit and it even still has it’s original label attached.
