and more!

Casa Spares & Website Updates
Shortly we’ll be adding other sections to the ‘Casa Lambretta’ spare parts on the site. These will include complete part listings for J Range, Luna / Vega / Lui and thereafter, for Model D and LD Lambrettas. Remember, that we carry a massive stock of ‘Casa’ parts and normally have a 95% availability level IN STOCK. Also, as we are so close to the ‘Casa’ central stores in Milan, if there’s a part we don’t have available, rest assured we can normally get hold of it within the week. We’re also about to have a bit of a clear out - so keep an eye on the site as we start to load up rare parts, accessories and scooters!

More August news!!!

RLC remade ‘Pegasus Flatbase’ seats
Tired of having to put up with remade Pegasus seats that are nothing like the originals, we’ve decided to have these remade using RLC’s own seat manufacturer. We’ve used a completely original flatbase seat to copy and after seeing the pre-production example, it really is a work of art, no question. The metal base is a one piece pressing (most of the remades have the sides welded on) and the seat sponge is EXACTLY the right shape. If you check out the shape of the seat on Dean’s ‘Speedball’ TV200 – that’s how it’s going to be made. The seats will have all the catches and bracketry as per original and also the plyable aluminium side trim! These seats are absolutely stunning. They will be available in tan, brown, black and dark blue. Expected retail price will be GBP £550 each, which is a bargain when you consider that knackered originals are now fetching £600 – 700. Order yours now to avoid disappointment!

August News!!!

Isle of Wight Rally 2010
With the IOW rally looming upon us, we’ve been busy getting scooters ready for customers who will be attending the ‘event of the year’. We’ll be riding back over and the rally aside, it’s also a great social opportunity to meet up with customers and put faces to names!

Gori Exhausts
Our new ‘Gori’ exhausts are flying out as fast as we can have them made and the feedback has been excellent. They really do overcome all the problems of the other ‘Clubman’ style exhausts on the market i.e. boggy bottom end power, poor fitment, poor construction etc. etc. Apart form overcoming all these points, our ‘Gori’ exhausts free up the top end power as well allowing the engine to ‘rev on’ more. In the shop we have a ‘Saxelby’ tuned GP225 and the addition of a 50mm ‘Gori’ exhaust has added 10mph onto the top speed as well as making the scooter more responsive right across the rev range. “What can’t speak, can’t lie” as they say, so next month, Andy the editor of ‘Scootering Magazine’ will be heading off to J.B. Tuning in Southend to test both the 40mm and 50mm versions on the same scooter they used for all their other Clubman tests. The results will be subject to a feature in the magazine. If you can’t wait until then, then be quick to order as we only have a few exhausts left until the next batch arrives mid - October!

Scooters for restoration!!!

We’ve been busy recently buying up good, clean scooters to offer as a base projects for customers wishing to have a scooter restored here by us at ‘RLC’.
This means that these scooters are available ONLY to order for restorations done by us – NOT as outright purchases. The reason for this is that certain models such as 175’s and 200’s are becoming increasingly difficult to locate - even here in Italy - and as we want to offer the very best for our customers, we will use these scooters for a restoration to your specification.
The advantages of this are ; - as we ‘hand pick’ the base scooters, you can rest assured they are the best available - if any part of the bodywork needs replacing when your resto’ is under the spanners, the cost for this is all part and parcel of the purchase price, so you don’t get billed for the replacement part - customers who have scooters restored by us have first pick of any rare accessories - we only fit Innocenti locks / switches / light units / electrical parts - your resto’ will be done using only the very best available parts - we use NO poor parts.
The scooters we have chosen for you are ;

- 6 x TV 175 Series 3
- 1 x SX200

Contact us for more details and to discover what we can offer you for your ‘RLC’ restored scooter!
